ABOUT ME

Ollie Sharp is a Bath based, Hampshire born, Singer-Songwriter and Frontman of band White Label , with a passion for music and songwriting. Imagine a cross between Ed Sheeran, John Lennon and the early works of Paramore and you're heading along the right lines. He started playing music at age 12 after the divorce of his parents and sudden move to london.

With the family in two parts and two different locations he used his basic knowledge of the guitar to teach himself and to improve, so he could create the best music possible for what he says was 'my own peace of mind'.  At the age of just 16 he can already sing, write music, play Guitar, bass and ukulele and dabble in basic triad piano chords.

When asked to describe the music he makes/ wants to make he states 'I want to make something which appeals to people like me, something people will look back on one day and be like … this kid knew what he was talking about. I like to mix genres that you wouldn't exactly expect to be together but somehow work and i find that incredibly interesting and fascinating to listen to. So thats what i aim to do, make the music for my generation and do that as best i can without wearing skin tight trousers and joining a boyband'

Despite his age Ollie has plenty of achievements under his belt already. With his debut EP 'Neverland' out now 'some would say the road is long and the sky is the limit for my career, I'd say "Im not doing bad" and be done with it'. With big plans to create music that will better himself he says - 'ill admit, as much of a success as it to have a professionally done EP at my age, I have the desperate need to improve on my last work, but I'm proud of the effort and commitment i put into making it'

Sharp is currently working on a full length studio album for 2016 entitled 'So Far, So Good' and is being released via Unheard Recordings- a digital online record label and recordings group. He's kickstarting his career on Unheard with his new three track EP 'If I Ever' engineered by TRZ at Percy Centre Studios. The record is set to arrive later in the 2015.

So far Ollie has played a variety of different venues, such as:

The Rec House in Twerton, Bath

The Speakeasy in Loughton, Essex

and even The Fleece in Bristol.

Sharp has also made his radio station interview debut on LYP RADIO, with Nick 'Stixy' Robinson and is even working to produce some new tracks for the rest of year as collaborations with the station.

With the album arriving next summer and the single vast approaching towards the latter end of 2015. Look out for Ollie Sharp in the near future.
